My husband and I had Party of Nine for our wedding and could not have asked for a better band. From the time they started playing until the time the wedding ended the dance floor was full, their energy was amazing and they always kept the crowd engaged. Party of Nine is the BEST! They had our dance floor PACKED from 8:45-12! They play such a variety of music – from Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars to Michael Jackson and Journey. It was fantastic! So many people commented about them. When most people hear you are having a “wedding band” they give you that “good luck” face. Well this changed everyone’s mind! I honestly forgot that real people were singing half of the time because they were that good. The singing was phenomenal, the drums, horns, keyboards… it was all wonderful! They even come with their own sound guy to make sure the music sounds perfect in the room! Bernadette was so detail-orientated that I was completely stress free on wedding day. I knew she had considered everything and she would handle any problems that got in her way. She was always extremely professional and super time-conscious. They only took a 15 minute break ALL NIGHT. The party never stopped! People say that they remember 3 things about weddings – the music, booze, and food. My first experience with party of nine was at my sister wedding four years ago! My family is big on live entertainment and once we listened to party of nine we knew we had to book them! I just got married in August and I have to say my dance floor was pack from the second the music started to the very last song! Party of Nine is hands down the best live band in Buffalo. We had the pleasure of the band playing at a fundraiser for my school. From the first song, the dance floor filled up and I never saw it empty. Their music flows perfectly, the musicians are tight, and they keep the vibe upbeat, happy, energetic, and FUN! Bernadette just gets it; her voice is amazing, ranging from Michael Jackson to Taylor Swift to Donna Summer, she naturally works the audience and is kind enough to chat and take pictures with people in between sets. The keyboard player sings Justin Timberlake “better than Justin Timberlake”, to quote one of our guests. The sound is on point always, and the entire band works together to make the event a night to remember. My colleagues were talking about Party of Nine for days! Party of Nine is soooooooo AMAZING! Bernadette hands down an amazing vocalist and “manager” of the band. They play everything! Old school for the older, and newer for the younger. Everyone is telling the truth when they say “they make the party”. No lie I was on the dance floor the entire night. I unfortunately didn’t talk to as many people as I should have, but they were dancing too;) Bernadette and the band are going to cater to you. I had one request to please play Maroon 5’s “Moves like Jagger”. My 6 yr nephew loves them. She not only learned and performed, but brought my nephew up to sing. We can’t say enough great things about Party of Nine. BOOK THIS BAND EARLY! My daughter and now son-in-law contracted Party of Nine without every seeing them perform, on the advise of my son who saw them at a charity event the night our daughter got engaged, and he grabbed their card and spoke with Bernadette. The Band performed the Father/Daughter and Mother /Son songs beautifully, both which they had to learn, their was not a dry eye in the place. All the music kept the dance floor packed. We received so many positive comments regarding the Band from so many guests of all ages, from 20 some things to 80 year olds. Party of Nine was the absolute best decision I made for my daughter’s wedding. I was expecting them to be fabulous and they exceeded my expectations. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. From the first communication with their leader and lead singer Bernadette to the end of the evening when the crowded dance floor shouted “One more Song, One More Song” to which the whole band came back and brought down the house with one more song. Some people choose to celebrate their personal milestones quietly and without fanfare. Not me! I was getting ready to celebrate my 50th birthday and wanted to do it in style. That meant music – and only the best. After experiencing Party of Nine at a friend’s birthday a few years prior, I kept it in the back of my mind, that if at all possible, I would hire them for my 50th because they were that good. I was so impressed with their range of song genres that I knew our friends & family would just love them. So i went on their website and I noticed they were playing at a wedding at Hotel Layette one night that I was going to be downtown, so I dropped in there just to hear them for myself and I was blown away! When people ask us how our wedding was, my response is: We could’ve had it in a dark alley somewhere, and it still would’ve been the best wedding I’ve ever attended. Party of Nine was the reason. They are the very best wedding band in Buffalo and we couldn’t be happier to have had them play on our big day. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire wedding and very few people under the age of 80 left early. If you’re mulling spending money on something else, rethink it. PO9 is worth every penny. They play music that appeals to all generations (be sure to request the Hip-Hop medley, seriously). Bernadette is an awesome entertainer, and is great at keeping things organized during the months leading up to the wedding. All of the musicians are extremely talented – they all bring something unique to the table – and the horn section is the icing on the cake. We looked at several bands for our wedding and just felt we couldn’t find the right fit for what we wanted. I wanted my dance floor packed and I wanted all ages dancing, I didn’t want more people on the dance floor during the breaks when we played the free ipod songs than when the band was playing. Party of Nine played for my in-laws 35th surprise wedding anniversary party. We has about 50 guests and had the party at my sister-n-laws home in their backyard. The band played all different genres of music and every single guest loved them. We can’t thank you enough for making their party an unforgettable and memorable one. Bernadette was very personable and accommodating. My father-n-law used to play in band and she even let him sit in for a few songs. Our main focus when planning our wedding was that we wanted to have an unforgettable party, and thanks to Po9 that is EXACTLY what we had. Having already heard such great things about Party of Nine, we had high expectations for the group, and they totally surpassed them! As we expected, Party of Nine was awesome! If you want you and your guests to seriously have a great time you should book Party of Nine! This band is of top notch quality, has a deep play list and knows how to cater their set list to the type of crowd.

The dance floor at our wedding was moving non-stop as soon as the band came on and until the last beat. Just a few of the comments we heard from our guests were “this band is much better than the other bands I’ve seen at weddings”, “I didn’t realize what a difference having a band versus a DJ makes at a wedding” and “these guys are amazing”.

Party of 9 rocked the house at our wedding!! When deciding between a band and a DJ for the wedding we went to see PO9 at Froghair on Transit Road and we were hooked!! My friends, Sara and Anthony, had Party of Nine perform at their wedding in September 2010. I loved them, so my fiancé and I decided to book them for our wedding, which took place on August 20, 2011. Words cannot describe the performance that Party of Nine gave us on our wedding night. We loved every single minute of it. They played our first dance, Unchained Melody, which was incredibly romantic. I was beaming through the whole dance! The dance floor was completely packed the entire night. They played all of our favorites: Livin’on a Prayer, Don’t Stop Believing, Sweet Caroline, Love Shack, and of course, the infamous Michael Jackson Medley, which lasted thirteen minutes!

Another amazing treat was Rolling in the Deep by Adele, which they had recently learned. My cousin’s husband, Dave, thought the song 25 or 6 to 4 by Chicago was a recording- he figured the band was on a break. When he turned around and saw Party of Nine jamming, he was astounded- he said his jaw dropped! They sounded so perfect he thought it was a CD! Party of Nine is also amazing at getting the party started. Bernadette, the lead singer, was such a crowd pleaser! People loved her! She is also amazing to work with and a great person. When Party of Nine came back from their break, the saxophonist came down on the dance floor and played for us while we slow danced around him! It was so cool! However, the most magical moment of the entire reception was the last song. We had asked Party of Nine to learn I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends (the Joe Cocker rendition). They absolutely owned that song. It sounded AMAZING. I can’t describe the emotions running through me at that time. All of our friends were surrounding us on the dance floor while Bernadette and the guys belted out the lyrics. It was so perfect and it was the moment I had always hoped for.

I wanted a memorable, wonderful last song and Party of Nine delivered. I will never forget it! My mother described Party of Nine as “superb”, and my sister said that they were by far the best band we could have found. You will NOT be sorry if you book this band! Many thanks to Party of Nine, the night would not have been the same without your amazing talent.

WOW… Where do we even begin? Our wedding reception was amazing thanks to you! Since we live in Florida, but had our wedding in Buffalo, we were both unable to come and hear your band live, in person, before our wedding. We sent our parents and friends out to listen to you, and they raved and said you were great… but we didn’t know for sure until we heard you ourselves on our wedding night. What an amazing choice we made. PO9 IS OUTSTANDING!!!

Our guests had so much fun, almost ALL of our 200 guests were on the dance floor at ALL TIMES during the wedding! I had guests coming up to me at the wedding asking for your cards, saying that they’ve NEVER seen a band who kept people on the dance floor all night!! Out of all the compliments we had at the wedding, the majority were for our choice of band. And not only were the compliments coming from the older crowd, but also from our younger friends. Seriously, we have never seen a band able to keep 20-somethings AND 50-somethings on the dance floor, together, for the whole night!!!

Overall, we had SO much fun at the wedding. The music was amazing, and it was wonderful that you even learned our “first dance” song for us so that we didn’t have to play the CD!!! After planning numerous fundraisers that need musical entertainment for nearly 10 years, I’ve found myself constantly looking for that one band that can fill two vital roles: engage guests and keep them there. I have finally found my band.

Party of Nine encompasses all that I need to keep my guests happy, and on the dance floor. As Regional Director of a local nonprofit, Camp Good Days, my primary goal is to raise money, a lot of it… but I need to make sure our guests are not only supporting us, but also having a good time. Party of Nine made sure this happened. Their wide selection made it easy for the youngest and oldest of our guests to get out on the dance floor and shake their stuff. The toughest part is usually getting those guests to stick around, even after the break. Apparently this is not a problem for Party of Nine – the dance floor was packed from beginning to end. This is a talented group of musicians who know just how to interact with their crowd and keeping them dancing.

Po9 was the best wedding band I have ever seen… and we were truly blessed to have them play our reception. Bernadette is in a league of her own and the rest of the guys are extremely talented and engaging musicians. The songs were excellent (including our wedding dance, which the band learned from scratch) and appealed to a wide swath of personalities and ages. Our guests danced nonstop for three hours and have been telling us how much fun they had ever since. I would recommend Po9 to anyone interested in having a superior band — made up of very nice people — help make their event.

Our wedding reception was an absolute blast! And we no doubt owe a lot of that to Party of Nine.

If I may toot my own horn…I knew I had it right! We wanted a talented, energetic, fun crew that could really put some heart into the party. And that’s exactly what we got.

All of our family and friends have commented how much fun the band was. The sound and performance were fantastic. Oh man…when the your sax player came out on the floor…SO much fun! The repertoire of music was perfect…some oldies, some swing, some soft, some to rock out to! And you managed the crowd…your non-stop energy kept the party going ’til they kicked us out. Remember when you tried to say goodnight and everyone chanted “TWO-MORE-SONGS! TWO-MORE-SONGS!” …not ONE more song, but TWO more songs! One of my groomsmen said yesterday “We never sat down from the second we got on the floor!”

I also remember at the end of the night when you introduced me to the band…They all gave me nods and enthusiastic thumbs up’s… I could tell they really had fun playing our wedding. That made me very happy.

Also, as the host, I truly appreciate you being accommodative and proactive. It really put us at ease that it would just be taken care of.

We made the perfect choice! Thank you for all your hard work!
